Man Rant? Yes.

The men around me all suck. All the yahoos I have met, even just this year, are very... I don't know, just bland. Literally ... There is a guy that is perfect for me out there in every way, but I am just NOT attracted to him. Maybe that makes me shallow. I just cannot get past his looks. I thought that I WAS shallow for the longest time, and only liked him for the gadgets and do-dads he gave me. He always had the best gifts and best food. He can cook and is a fixer-upper, and is such a man. BUT, there is something there that I cannot put my finger on. I thought that I would eventually fall in love with him, based off spending time with him and getting the love I didn't think I deserved. I never was able to reciprocate the feelings he had for me. I think he still loves me .

Other guys I have dated have just been "ok". Some good looking, and some have been really great. None have worked out for me. Every now and then, I will get these bursts of energy where I seriously "don't need a man" and feel super independent and feel like I could live this life on why own and be A-OK.

I do want to be loved, and have a 'person', however, I just want them to have a couple characteristics. See below:

1. Stay Busy

I love when a guy stays busy. He can do his own thing, doesn't need to talk 24/7 and engages in deep conversation when necessary but shares his day and adventures with me. I would like to be part of those things, but I just want him to be independent and trustworthy at the same time.

2. Respectful

Talk to me like a human. I recently had a boyfriend that talked to me like I was some kind of thing he found on a porch with no legs. Rude. I am so glad I do not date him anymore. He would say hurtful things to me on purpose to get back at me? For what? Nothing. He always accused me of cheating, for no reason. Anyway, I would really like someone to just be nice :)

3. Humor

Please please PLEASE stop letting me always do the talking and always be the funny one. Make me laugh. There is this guy that I know. He is super gay and a new friend of mine, but if I could mash him up into a guy for me - I would. He is very good looking and friendly and just HOT DARN funny.

4. Adventurous

I love me a man that travels. I need a guy always willing to try new foods, new drinks and new places. While he can be crazy and outgoing - he should also be willing to chill and have lazy days with me. With the right guy, that will be an adventure in itself.

I will probably add more later - I surely will. Just a rant that I needed to get out.
